How we are paid
'Prospective clients are invited to attend an initial meeting, which is at our expense and without obligation.'
The purpose of this initial meeting is to establish whether the services we offer might be of benefit and significant value for money and to tell you how much we will be paid for our services if you decide to proceed.
Fees or commissions?
Whilst we do not believe commissions are inherently bad, there is some evidence that they can lead to an emphasis on selling products at the cost of impartial advice and ongoing service. That's why we were one of the first of a growing number of firms who choose to charge fees for the services that we provide. In the event that we receive commissions for the work we have undertaken, we simply treat these as if they belonged to you.
Whether we take our remuneration by way of commission or fees will be a matter of discussion and agreement, and no charges or fees will be made without prior agreement.
